The Pot Shed…

Making pottery started as a fun and creative outlet that I had a natural affinity for. I love making functional art that can be used on a daily basis as well as artistic pieces that allow me to push myself in a different way. 

Throwing pottery is extremely calming, which only adds to its allure.      

                     

The Pot Shed is a way for me to continue to grow as an artist, share my art with the world, and continue my journey as a ceramic potter.

 I am exploring new creative mediums and cannot wait to share them with you. I love the idea of bringing new use to discarded items. I've been exploring making pottery tools and kitchen knives from up cycled saw blades and wood from fallen trees.  The trial and error is frustrating and exciting at the same time. It feels really good to get it right after many attempts. 

                        

I recently started working with textiles too. Making hats, shirts and jeans. Excited to see where this new hobby takes me.

When I need a break from creating, you can find me rock climbing, at the beach or watching movies.
